It isn't how fast you milk it but how much you milk it. Also there has been so much talk recently about milked franchises with people listing Mario, SOCOM, Halo, GoW, Ratchet. However milking isn't always a bad thing especially when the games are good like in the franchises I listed previously. It is when a franchise is milked dry that we have a problem.

I think Guillermo del Toro should direct it. Seeing as how Peter Jackson is doing Hobbit and Neil Blowlamp doesn't want to direct it any more. Guillermo proved he could make a beautiful film with Pan's Labyrinth and a decent action film with Hellboy II. Also in a Bungie podcast they mentioned that he was a fan of Halo. So he is familiar with the universe.

Toy Story 3 is fantastic. The 3D is executed very well and isn't even slightly cheesy. I can honestly say without feeling ashamed that I shed some tears at the end of the film.
I really want this game to be good. Sadly I have a feeling it won't be. I will remain optimistic however.
I remember looking at a list of 3DS titles around E3 and one of the titles was "Ninja Gaiden Sequel" but it is no longer there. Hopefully though we will get it.
Lost in Shadow is a retail title and is coming out sometime in the Fall of this year.
Modern Warfare: Mobilized, Super Mario 64 DS, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron, Ninja Gaiden Dragon: Sword, Moon, and Dementium also look great. Otherwise this is a pretty spot-on list.
I think it is safe to say that this game will just have high sales period.
